What is Healing? Wisdom from Consciousness Circles

Cesar Rodriguez
.
In our search for wellness, healing often presents itself as a destination—a place to arrive once we’ve repaired what’s deemed broken in us. Yet, through a deeper, almost mystical understanding gleaned from a psychedelic journey, a different perspective on healing emerges. It suggests that true healing isn’t about altering ourselves to fix what is broken nor to become something that anyone or anything expects us to be, but about allowing ourselves to simply be exactly who we really are.

A Journey into Adulthood: Finding Jewels in the Cave of Self-Worth

.
“The cave you fear to enter holds the jewels that you seek” Joseph Campbell. This quote was how we preface this conversation, but more importantly a concept that I’ve grown to learn and embrace. Another quote that I feel holds the same concept is “The wound is the place where the Light enters you” by Rumi.

This interview was complex, vulnerable and uncomfortable at times. However, it was incredibly healing and reaffirming by being able to speak of what I believe has made me the adult I am today.

Exploring the Enigmatic “Personalities” of Sacred Ceremonial Plant Medicines

Carlos Rangel
.
Embarking on a journey with sacred medicines is a profound exploration of the mind, spirit, and consciousness. Throughout the many times I’ve been able to sit with different sacred plants, I’ve had wonderful, deep, challenging, horrible, ecstatic and blissful experiences. One of the best lessons I’ve had the joy of receiving is to listen to the plants and commune with them vs just thinking that I am “taking them”. This approach has taught me to be with the plant as if they are their own entity. I’ve grown to see each plant as sentient beings with personalities and identities.
